What it means to be a Trojan

By Kaden Cook, fifth grade

It means to be prepared for anything, a storm, a sporting event or school, being a leader. You should be an example everywhere and anytime of the day. You need to be that person that everyone wants to be like. You should have integrity to do the right thing when somebody isn’t watching.

If someone is doing the wrong thing, do the right thing. Be dependable, being there when your teacher needs you or another student.

What it means to be a Trojan

By Katelyn Adam, sixth grade

Being a Trojan to me is being courageous, trustworthy and proud. I have always been a Trojan and I am very proud of that because in the future it will make an impact on our lives, like the way we treat people with respect and being dependable when things get tough.

Also, throughout the years, we have been taught to inspire people, achieve goals and empower others. We learn about using Trojan Pride, which means being prepared, respect, integrity, dependable and environmentally aware and safe. So that is what it means to be a Trojan to me.

What it means to be a Trojan

By Sarah McAvan, seventh grade

Being a Trojan means being a leader. But being a leader doesn’t always mean being the one to make all the big decisions. You don’t even have to be loud or boisterous. You just lead by example.

To lead by example, you need to have courage to do what is right. That means being kind, and having integrity and taking chances for the common good. That is what it means to be a leader. And that is what it means to be a Trojan!

What it means to be a Trojan

By Claire Pettit, seventh grade

What does it mean to be a Trojan. People might say having school spirit, or following Trojan Pride. Although, I think it’s much more. To be a Trojan you need to step up and always try your hardest, or being courageous, like that one person who will raise their hand, even when no one else will, it means to be kind, for that’s what the kids who may be new to the school need and want.

It means to help out if someone in the hall drops some books you feel free to help out, because they need it. That’s what it means to be a Trojan.

What it means to be a Trojan

By Lauren Kraemer, eighth grade

What it means to be a Trojan is to be proud of who you are. A Trojan is someone who supports or helps others. They try to be the best that they can be while in and out of school. Trojans are proud of who they are and what they do. A Trojan is someone who has pride.

Trojans are prepared, have respect, have integrity, are dependable and are environmentally aware and safe.
