Woman pleads not guilty in fatal Dubuque County robbery case
DUBUQUE (AP) — A December trial has been scheduled for one of the people who authorities say is connected to the fatal shooting of a man at a northeast Iowa mobile home park.
Court records say 30-year-old Savanna Stotlar has pleaded not guilty to a felony robbery charge in Dubuque County. Her trial is set to begin Dec. 20.
The Dubuque Telegraph Herald reports that court documents say Stotlar was with several people in Dubuque in April who discussed robbing someone. The documents say Stotlar drove two of them to a mobile home park on the south end of Dubuque, where 21-year-old Collin Brown soon was fatally shot during the robbery.
