American Gothic House Center Halloween party set

Oct 21, 2013

ELDON — The American Gothic House Center will hold its annual Halloween party from 2-4 p.m. Saturday.

Children in preschool through fifth grade are invited to attend.

Participants will play Boo Bowling, make scary spider webs, decorate scarecrow cookies and much more. A mad scientist will be performing fun experiments. Children are encouraged to come in costume for a fun photo opportunity in front of the American Gothic House, made famous by Grant Wood’s painting. Photos will be printed and given as a gift to everyone who attends.

The event is free and open to the public.

For more information about the Halloween party, contact American Gothic House Center administrator Holly Berg at 641-652-3352 or email TheAmericanGothicHouse@gmail.com.
