Anderson, Septer married in ceremony at Marr Park

Chelsea and Travis Septer

Chelsea Anderson, originally of Ainsworth, and Travis Septer, originally from Lockridge, and both from Eddyville, were married Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at Marr Park in Ainsworth, with Stephanie Laverman officiating the 5 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Rita Anderson of Ainsworth.

The groom is the son of Brian and Kristen Septer of Lockridge and Gordon and Lisa Heady of Fairfield.

The bride’s gown was made of ivory satin and lace with ruching and beading at the midsection, a sweetheart neckline and chapel-length train. She wore an ivory flower in her hair. The bridal bouquet, wrapped in burlap, was arranged with purple, orange and yellow roses along with lime green button mums. The bride’s wore a diamond bracelet, a gift from the groom.

Brittany Anderson was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Stephanie Laverman, Bailey Anderson, Sheena Heitmeier and Kayla Septer. Taelyn Finger was the flower girl.

The groom was attired in a dark brown tuxedo, with a burnt orange vest, a striped brown and orange tie, and he wore an orange rose boutonniere with a burlap accent.

Jacob Lawson was the best man. The ringbearer was Landon Heitmeier.

The bridal colors were the colors of fall: green, brown, orange and maroon.

Bailey Anderson was the soloist.

A reception was held at the Ainsworth Opera House. Special guests were Bill and Janet Anderson, Richard and Ardeth Hildreth, David and Paul Hesier, Margaret Conger, Gordon and Linda Heady and Sandie Allen.

The bride will graduate from Central College in May, with a degree in business management and administration. She graduated from Washington High School in 2007.

The groom graduated from Fairfield High School in 2004 and from Northwest Iowa Community College in 2006. He is an electrician at Cargill in Eddyville.
