PHOTO SUBMITTED Artwork by Fairfield High School art students, like this piece created by Kailey Kaska, will be on display in the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center’s main gallery.

The Fairfield Art Association’s 2017 Annual Fairfield High School Student Art Show will be on display during the month of April in the main gallery at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center.

An opening reception will be 6-8 p.m. Friday in the gallery.

“Over 150 pieces are included, with a wide range mediums represented,” said FHS art teacher David Kraemer. “Please come and see the outstanding works created by our FHS art students.”

This event is free and open to the public.

The Fairfield Art Association Studio Sales Gallery will be open Friday, with new artworks changed out by most artists for the spring season.

Students of John Preston and Elaine Duncan have art represented in the Hallway Gallery for one more week.

Participants in this summer’s downtown art installation “See the Music – Tune into our Vibe” are reminded to pick up their wooden base for the project and guidelines in the Fairfield Art Association Studio. There is an opportunity for a few more participants.
