Several artists are students taking art association classes in pastel and watercolor, while others are art teachers or “professional artists.” The exhibit includes works in acrylic, ink, ceramic, pencil, oil, mixed, photography, oil pastel, watercolor, pastel, and new this year an entry of 1,000 digital computer generated paintings. The digital work will be presented by way of a small photo screen.

Another special entry is the handmade sketch books by John Preston, full of his detailed sketches for his paintings.

Tschopp, Phil Hirschler, Sandi Dimmitt, BJ Grimmer, Jeri Schatz Giddens, Sarah Baron, Grace White, Rosemary Lucente, Julie Johnston, Suzan Bates Kessel, John Preston, Carroll Michalek and Nan White.

Most of the artworks on display are for sale by the artists, with 30 percent of any sale going to the Fairfield Art Association to support the organization and its projects. The show will remain in the gallery through Dec. 31 and can be viewed during the center’s business hours or during events.
