Benefit for Wolf set Saturday

HEDRICK — A benefit for Tabatha Conger Wolf is planned Saturday at the Carl Craft Civic Center in Hedrick.

Wolf is originally from the Ollie-Martinsburg area. She has worked at the Outfield in Richland and Agriland Farm Service near Sigourney. She wsa injured in a car crash last fall. Her spinal cord was severed, and she is now a quadriplegic.

Wolf and her husband Charlie live in Jefferson.

The benefit begins with “Red Neck Games” at 10 a.m.

The all-in-fun games are for people of all ages, and no skills are required. Teams of six can register at 9:30 a.m. Saturday or by calling Michelle Glandon at 641-660-9602.

The games will be followed by a regular auction and a silent auction. To donate an item for the auction, call Glandon or Tony Conger at 641-660-3991.

Food will be available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pulled-pork sandwiches, loose-meat hamburgers, nachos, pie and cake will be available for purchase.

All proceeds from the event will go to Wolf to help offset current and ongoing medical expenses.
