The Over 50 and Fabulous Red Hat Ladies met for lunch recently at the Birmingham Lions Building in Birmingham.

Fifteen members were present, along with two guests, Mr. and Mrs. Smith of Mount Pleasant, who presented a musical program.

“Happy Birthday” was sung for those with March birthdays.

Linda Stine won the door prize. Donna Pratt and JoAnn Shoemaker were the hostesses.


The Birmingham Lions’s meeting scheduled for Monday has been canceled.


Coyote hunters of Birmingham will host a supper at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.

The supper is in appreciation of the farmers and landowners who allowed them to hunt.


The annual Easter egg hunt will be held April 6 in City Park.


The Birmingham Homecoming date has been changed to June 7-9. The tractor pull will be Sept. 9. Previously, Birmingham Homecoming was held on Father’s Day weekend.
