Blood drives set in Lockridge, Fairfield, Keosauqua

Lockridge Fire and Rescue

LOCKRIDGE — Lockridge Fire and Rescue will host a community blood drive from 3:30- 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lockridge Senior Center.

Donors who last gave blood on or before Dec. 26 are eligible to give at this drive.

Fairfield Arts & Convention Center

Fairfield Arts & Convention Center will host a community blood drive from 3-6 p.m. Feb. 21 in its Smith meeting room.

Donors who last gave blood on or before Dec. 27 are eligible to give at this drive

All donors will get a Blend Card for 10 percent off one 2017 Artist Series ticket and be entered to win two tickets for the 2017 Artist Series shows.

Van Buren High School

KEOSAUQUA — Van Buren High School will host a community blood drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 22 inside the school gym.

Donors who last gave blood on or before Dec. 28 are eligible to give at this drive.

For appointments, contact a member of National Honor Society or high school English teacher Audrey Ekle, or visit www.bloodcenterimpact.org and use code 5286 to locate the drive.

 

Jefferson County AM

Jefferson County AM will host a community blood drive from 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Feb. 23 in the Jefferson County Health Center conference room.

Donors who last gave blood on or before Dec. 29 are eligible to give at this drive.

Donor information

Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age, although a 16-year-old can donate with parental permission. A parental permission form is available through www.bloodcenter.org. A donor must weigh more than 110 pounds. Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure can be accepted as eligible donors. A photo I.D. is required to donate.

The blood center is the exclusive provider to Jefferson County Health Center and Van Buren County Hospital.
