Bonaparte library planning fundraising dinner theater

Nov 12, 2012

BONAPARTE — The Bonaparte Public Library will host a mystery dinner theater Saturday in the Whiteley Opera House in Bonaparte.

The Opera House tables will be set by local women in a fall or wine theme. The evening will begin with a wine and cheese tasting followed by a roast beef sundae dinner, finishing with an assortment of homemade desserts to choose from.

Bonaparte Pottery’s Marilyn Thomas will be serving Tassel Ridge wines, accompanied by cheese from the Milton Creamery.

Murder and mystery seem to go hand in hand in “The Sour Grapes of Wrath” set on the Killingsworth Farm in California’s Wine Country.

Reservations are required as there is limited seating.

Tickets for the evening are $25.  Call 319-592-3677 for reservations or more information.

All proceeds from the event will be used toward the building of a new public library in Bonaparte.
