Aly Bowers and Bruce Dahlhauser were married in a ceremony officiated by the Rev. James Wotherspoon at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Fairfield.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Deanne Bowers of Fairfield. The groom is the son of Gene and Diane Dahlhauser of West Bend.

The bride, escorted down the aisle by her father, wore a gown of white opulent chiffon with beaded embellishment of swarovski crystals at the hip line and over one shoulder. The gown featured ruching across the front to the left hip, lacing in the back and a simple train. She wore a fingertip-length veil with beading on the edge and a hair accessory that complimented the embellishments on her dress. The bride carried a teardrop bouquet of pink stargazer lilies, white orchids and bright pink roses.

The maid of honor was Alissa Baswell. Bridesmaids were Karla Tweeten, Paige Jones and Rebecca Westphal. They wore street-length, strapless gray chiffon dresses and pink heels. They carried bouquets of pink Gerber daisies wrapped with pink ribbon.

The groom wore a gray tux with a white shirt, vest and tie. The best man, Wes Dahlhauser, brother of the groom, wore a gray tux with a gray vest and pink tie. Groomsmen were Jacob Leonard, Travis Nelson and Ben Frieden. They wore gray tuxes with pink vests and pink ties.

The bride was preceded down the aisle by ringbearers Ethan Bisgard, Grant Bisgard and Landon Bowers, nephews of the bride, and four flower girls carrying signs announcing “Here Comes the Bride.” Flower girls were Paige Bisgard and Laney Bowers, nieces of the bride, and Meadow and Macey Dahlhauser, nieces of the groom. The ring bearers wore gray suits and pink ties. The flower girls dresses were empire-waist white satin, with chiffon shirt and a bow in the back. They wore pink flowers in their hair and white sandals.

Candle lighters were Nolan and Hayden Dahlhauser, nephews of the groom. They were attired in gray pants and white shirts with pink suspenders.

Guests were ushered to their seats by Phil and Steve Dahlhauser, brothers of the groom, Andy Bowers, brother of the bride, and Troy Bisgard, brother-in-law of the bride. All wore gray tuxes with gray vests and ties.

Angie Bisgard, sister of the bride, was soloist, and Sue Long was pianist.

Amanda Kuikin and Jennifer Peters greeted guests as they arrived. Ashley Bowers, sister-in-law of the bride, was the bride’s personal attendant.

Following the ceremony, a reception and dance, hosted by Darrel and Brenda Bisgard of Fairfield and Kent and Gail Wolfe of West Bend, was held at Best Western Fairfield Inn.

After a 10-day honeymoon cruise in the Caribbean, the couple makes their home in Eagle Grove, where the bride teaches kindergarten and coaches varsity basketball and track, and the groom teaches fifth-grade technology and coaches varsity football and middle school basketball.
