Brandon Huntington - 1985-2017

Brandon Robert Henry Huntington, 31, died Sunday, May 7, 2017, at his home in Keosauqua.

Mr. Huntington was an organ donor.

The body has been cremated. A blessing will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at River Valley Lodge and Campground near Farmington, with a celebration of life to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family. Memorials can be sent to Kayla Huntington, 902 Franklin St, Keosauqua 52565.

Pedrick Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Mr. Huntington was born Dec. 13, 1985, in Mora, Minnesota, to Carrie Armstrong and Wayne Richard Huntington. He married Kayla Clemenson Feb. 20, 2010, in Bonaparte.

Mr. Huntington graduated from Van Buren High School in Keosauqua.

He was employed by Gemvision Corporation.

Mr. Huntington was a man of many projects and lots of tinkering. Some of his projects include working on his Jeep, building an airplane, and working with his father-in-law, Kevin Clemenson, building his wife Kayla’s dream home.

He spent many hours playing with his son, and he also enjoyed spending time with his brothers and many friends.

Survivors include: his wife Kayla Huntington, and son, Malik Ivan Huntington, both of Keosauqua; brothers Cody Corman of Keosauqua, Zachary Corman of Des Moines, Brock Corman of Cedar Rapids; sister Miriah Huntington of Mora; stepsiblings Jeremiah Smith and Jessica Troupe; parents Carrie Armstrong-Vesik of San Antonio,Texas, and Wayne (Gayle) Huntington of Mora.
