Cambridge promotes Meaghan Alvarez to assistant vice president of risk assessment

Cambridge announces that Meaghan Alvarez has been promoted to assistant vice president of risk assessment.

In this role, she is responsible for implementing Cambridge’s operational, regulatory, and compliance strategic objectives while identifying risk matters for Cambridge and its independent financial advisors.

Alvarez joined Cambridge in 2015 and has nearly 12 years of experience in the financial services industry. She’s responsible for all risk assessment reviews across the firm along with collaborating with the management team to identify and prioritize processes within Cambridge for evaluation.

Prior to joining Cambridge, Alvarez held leadership roles in consulting and compliance at LPL Financial, First Allied Securities, Independent Financial Group, and Oyster Consulting.

Alvarez earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and a certificate in leadership training for managers from the Dale Carnegie Management Training Program. Additionally, she is Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certified and holds the FINRA Series 4, 7, 24, 53, and 66 licenses.
