Carl A. Watts of Florida, formerly of Iowa, died Dec. 26, 2012.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. July 3 at First Presbyterian Church in Fairfield.

A luncheon will be available after the service in fellowship hall, followed by a graveside service at Bonaparte Cemetery.

Mr. Watts was born Oct. 3, 1930, in Bonaparte, the son of Winnetka Hansen Watts and Leslie Albert Watts. He married Janice Nadine Teller May 16, 1954. She preceded him in death in September 2008. He married Ginny Swickard June 1, 2011. She survives.

He worked at Dexter Company and Ford Motor Company.

He served in the Iowa Army National Guard for 15 years, playing in the 34th Army Band of Fairfield.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Elks Lodge, the Walton Club and the Howard Johnson Coffee Club in Fairfield.

Survivors include two sons, David Watts and wife Christina of Cartersville, Ga., and Douglas Watts and wife Evelyn of Longwood, Fla.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
