CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Leah Vance of Bonaparte has been recognized for achieving the dean’s honor list for fall semester 2017 at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio.

Students on the dean’s honor list have achieved a 3.75 grade-point average for the semester while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours.


University of Alabama

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- Shulang Cheng of Maoming City received a Bachelor of Science in Commerce & Business Administration from The University of Alabama. The university awarded some 2,077 degrees during winter commencement Dec. 16.


Iowa State University

AMES -- Approximately 9,575 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the fall semester 2017 dean’s list.

Students named to the dean’s list must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.

Iowa State University

AMES -- Gwynne Wright, daughter of Jesse and Sarah Wright, has been named to the dean’s list at Iowa State University for the fall semester 2017.

Wright also has been recognized for her academic achievements by being selected to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the fall of 2016, spring of 2016, and fall of 2017. Fall 2017 she was selected to the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team.

Wright is a sophomore majoring in kinesiology, and is a member of Iowa State’s cross country and track team.
