Chocolate Sunday, an annual fundraising event to benefit the band and choir departments at Fairfield High School, will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Fairfield Middle School Cafetorium.

This is an event that has taken place for well over 20 years. It allows people to get into the festivities of the holiday season shopping for gift baskets and listening to holiday music while enjoying yummy treats. The event includes silent auction baskets for sale, as well as treats for patrons to eat while they listen to the live entertainment. The price of admission is $5.

Entertainment will come in the form of a variety of ensembles from the band and choir departments. Attendees will hear performances from GYZ, GRLZ and VOX choirs, both jazz choirs, the FHS jazz band, and more. Everyone in the community is invited. For information, contact FHS band director Jim Edgeton at jim.edgeton@fairfieldsfuture.org or FHS choir director Zach Reiter at zach.reiter@fairfieldsfuture.org.
