Citizens invited to speak during public hearing on health care delivery

DES MOINES — Iowa’s Legislative Services Agency – Legislative Information Office invites citizens to speak during a public hearing 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday in the Iowa House of Representatives Chamber at the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines regarding SF 296 – integrated care models for the delivery of health care, sponsored by the House Appropriations Committee – Rep. Chuck Soderberg, chairman.

Speaking time is three minutes per individual for all public hearings.

Written testimony is encouraged, but not required.

Speakers will be called five for the bill, five against, then every other one until there are no more or until 7 p.m.

Anyone wishing to speak can sign up at the Legislative Information Office Room G16 in the Iowa State Capitol or call 515-281-5129; do not leave a recorded message.

If unable to attend, email written testimony may be sent to the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives, housechiefclerk@legis.iowa.gov and type “Testimony” in the subject line.
