Crile Family Reunion

Jul 10, 2017

The 100th Annual Crile Reunion for descendants of John Phillip (Gruel) and Gottliebie (Kull) Crile will be held July 30 in the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Activity Building.

Doors will open at 10 a.m., with a cooperative meal served at 12:30 p.m. Those planning to attend are asked to make reservations by July 18 so the committee will know how many to plan for. The committee will order meat for sandwiches. Each family is asked to bring two side dishes to share. Drinks will be provided.

This is an opportunity to visit and reminisce about family happenings and stories. The Crile genealogy book will be available to view and make additions and corrections. It is the goal of the committee to have the information available for purchase for those interested. The information will be available later when additions and corrections have been made.

Those attending are asked to bring old photos and memorabilia to share with the group.

A meeting and program will follow the meal.

The descendants of John Phillip and Gottliebie Crile’s six sibilings also are invited.

For reservations, contact Loretta Diers at 319-696-2171 or lettyd701@gmail.com.
