Donald Lee Nupp, 66, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at the Jefferson County Health Center.

A funeral is set for 10 a.m. Friday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Stephen Page officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield.

The family will receive family and friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Nupp was born June 21, 1946, in Ottumwa, the son of Robert and Margaret Wilcoxson Nupp. He married Mary Helen Cutts May 10, 1969, in Fairfield. She died May 21, 2003.

Mr. Nupp worked several years at The Dexter Company in Fairfield before moving to Oklahoma to work at Circle S Paving. Later, he and his family moved back to Fairfield.

Survivors include two daughters: Donna Nupp and Pete Ray of Fairfield and Karen Nupp and Randy Cook of Libertyville; three brothers: Norman Nupp and Joe Nupp, both of Albia, and Kenneth Nupp of Ridgeway, Mo.; two sisters: Ethel Williams and Debra Nelson, both of Albia; and five grandsons.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by: his parents; one daughter: Barbara Ann Ingwersen; two sisters: Dorothy Williams and Betty Keith; and one brother: Perry Nupp.
