Kelly Lacey recently donated her 4-H pallet garden project to Parkview Care Center. She started all of the flowers from seeds and grew them in a greenhouse until they were big enough to transplant. The flowers she selected are eco friendly and designed to attract butterflies, bumble bees and humming birds. Her project won a blue ribbon and state fair consideration at the recent 2014 Greater Jefferson County Fair. Lacey said she decided not to take the planter to the state fair, but to donate it to Parkview where people could enjoy it.
