The Fairfield girls’ soccer team earned another home victory Tuesday by beating Fort Madison 5-0 at Trojan Stadium.

Senior Huma Liptak did not waste any time getting the scoring started. With less than four minutes used up on the game clock, she streaked down the field all alone and sent in the game’s first goal. Liptak would send in her second goal of the game nine minutes later. A second half goal would give Liptak her eighth goal of the season and her second hat trick.

Not to be outdone, fellow senior Claudia Sloat scored two goals. Her season total now stands at six.

Sloat also joined Tracy Andermann, Elaine Brandt and Courtney Gilmore in the assist column.

Fairfield is now 4-1 on the season and will travel Thursday to Mt. Pleasant.
