The Fairfield softball team won two over Mt. Pleasant Tuesday night at the middle school field with the game one final 5-0 and game two 10-2.

Game one

Ashtyn Drish went 3-4 with an RBI and a run scored to lead the Trojan offense.

Shay Drish and Allison Rebling both added doubles before scoring runs and Taylor Myers and Grace Stever crossed the plate as well for the other two Fairfield scores.

Rebling went seven innings, allowing zero runs on three hits while walking three and striking out 14.

Game two

The Panthers pounced first and last, but inbetween is when the Trojans scored 10 runs for the eight run victory for the sweep.

Offensively, the Trojans were led by Rebling, Simpson and Shay Drish who each had two hits with Simpson’s both coming in the form of moonshots in her first two at-bats that led to four RBI as well.

Ashtyn Drish went the distance, pitching seven innings and allowing two runs on seven hits while walking four and striking out four in the win.
