Fairfield schools serving taco varieties for lunch

Fairfield Community School District has listed its lunch menu for the coming week.

 

Preschools:

Monday — breakfast: blueberry bread. Lunch: french bread pizza, green beans, pineapple and mandarin oranges, milk.

Tuesday — breakfast: pancake on a stick. Lunch: beef and cheese taco, peppy pinto beans, rosy awesome sauce, milk.

Wednesday — breakfast: chocolate chip breakfast bar. Lunch: hot ham and cheese croissant, corn, fresh fruit, milk.

Thursday — breakfast: doughnut holes. Lunch: chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes, apple crisp, milk.

Friday — breakfast: Pop-Tart. Lunch: cheeseburger on a bun, peas, fresh fruit, milk.

 

Elementary schools:

Monday — breakfast: blueberry bread. Lunch: french bread pizza, green beans, celery sticks, pineapple and mandarin oranges, milk.

Tuesday — breakfast: pancake on a stick. Lunch: walking taco with beef, peppy pinto beans, lettuce and cheese, rosy awesome sauce, milk.

Wednesday — breakfast: chocolate chip breakfast bar. Lunch: hot ham and cheese croissant, honey-glazed carrots, broccoli with dip, fresh fruit, milk.

Thursday — breakfast: doughnut holes. Lunch: chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes, baby carrots, frozen fruit cup, apple crisp, milk.

Friday — breakfast: Pop-Tart. Lunch: cheeseburger on a bun, peas, broccoli with dip, fresh fruit, milk.

 

Middle school:

Monday — breakfast: blueberry bread. Lunch: french bread pizza or deli wrap, green beans, pineapple and mandarin orange, fresh salad bar, milk.

Tuesday — pancake on a stick. Lunch: walking taco with beef or chicken, peppy pinto beans, rosy awesome sauce, fresh garden bar, milk.

Wednesday — breakfast: chocolate chip breakfast bar. Lunch: hot ham and cheese croissant or hot turkey and cheese croissant, honey-glazed carrots, fresh fruit, fresh garden bar, milk.

Thursday — breakfast: doughnut holes. Lunch: chicken nuggets or country fried pork chop, mashed potatoes, frozen fruit cup, apple crisp, fresh garden bar, milk.

Friday — breakfast: Pop-Tart. Lunch: cheeseburger on a bun or hamburger on a bun, peas, fresh fruit, fresh garden bar, milk.

 

High school:

Monday — breakfast: funnel cake. Lunch: Tasty Traditions — corn dog. The Grill — chili cheese max wrap. The Sides — California blend vegetables, peaches, milk.

Tuesday — breakfast: apple fruddel. Lunch: Tasty Traditions — cheesy Trojan bread with marinara. The Grill — pizza crunchers. The Sides — honey-glazed carrots, marinara, pears, milk.

Wednesday — breakfast: cream cheese-filled bagel. At the Bar — tacos. The Sides — peppy pinto beans, Spanish rice, rosy applesauce, milk.

Thursday — breakfast: banana bread. Lunch: Tasty Traditions — meatball sub on a bun. The Grill — BBQ Rib on a bun. The Sides — french fries, mixed fruit, cookie, milk.

Friday — breakfast: breakfast pizza. Lunch: Tasty Traditions — chicken and noodles with homemade roll. The Grill — ham slice with homemade roll. The Sides — mashed potatoes, milk.
