Financial aid workshop Wednesday

Mar 05, 2013

Indian Hills Community College will be holding a free financial aid workshop from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the IHCC Jefferson County Center in Fairfield.

During the workshop participants will be assisted with completion of FAFSA, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The FAFSA is required for students seeking federal grants, student loans and work study at many educational institutions.

In addition to staff from Indian Hills’ Educational Opportunity Center and financial aid office, those who attend also will have the opportunity to visit with academic advisors, recruiters and representatives from the Ottumwa Job Corps center.

To complete the FAFSA, prospective and current students should bring their most recent income tax return, W-2s and other proof of income for themselves and their parents, if the student is a dependent.

For more information, contact the Educational Opportunity Center at 641-683-5315 or eoc@indianhills.edu.
