Fairfield Fire Department responded to an automatic alarm at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday at SunnyBrook.

Firefighters responded at 5:45 p.m. to 905 W. Depot Ave., for a Haz-Mat spill. A forklift truck from Fairfield Castings ran its fork into a five-gallon bucket of methyl ethyl ketone, causing a spill. Firefighters spread oil-dry and hosed the area with water, returning to the station at 8:05 p.m.
