First Christian honoring veterans Sunday morning

First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) will be honoring all military veterans during its service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

All veterans are invited to attend.

The incorrect date was provided to The Ledger and printed on the Religion page Nov. 3.

 

Faith United Methodist UMW meeting scheduled Monday

LIBERTYVILLE — The United Methodist Women of Faith United Methodist Church will meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Marilyn Taylor is hostess.

All women are invited.

Those attending should bring a Thanksgiving thought for the program.

 

Lightning & Thunder healing revival planned in Ottumwa

OTTUMWA — Lightning & Thunder Ministry will have a healing revival with prophetic revivalist Richard Kessler, from 7-9 p.m. Nov. 17 at Bridge View Center in Ottumwa.

Anointed worship and a prayer team are planned.

WASHINGTON, Iowa — Crooked Creek Christian Camp will have Create, Commune & Craft from 3 p.m. Nov. 17 through 3 p.m. Nov. 18.

Attendees should bring their own project and join others in a retreat enjoying fellowship and crafting.

First United Methodist Church plans supper, bazaar

A fund-raising supper will be held 4:30-7:30 p.m. Nov. 17 at First United Methodist Church.

A tenderloin meal will be available for $8.

The United Methodist Women Bazaar will be 8-11 a.m. Nov. 18.
