Football camps begin Monday

By Andy Hallman, Ledger news editor | Jul 28, 2017

Fall is on the horizon, and that means local students will be able to participate in a series of football camps.

All camps will be at the Fairfield High School practice fields. The camps are designed for campers to learn football fundamentals, schemes, life lessons through football and to have fun.

The camp for those entering high school costs $40 and runs from 6-8 p.m. Monday through Aug. 4. High school football coaches will lead the camp.

The youth and middle school football camp is for grades five through eight. It is from 6-8 p.m. on Aug. 14, 16 and 17. High school coaches and players will lead the camp. The cost is $30.

The “Future Trojans Football Camp” is for students in grades three and four. It’s from 9-11 a.m. Aug. 19.

The cost is $20. Participants in the camp will receive a youth size Fairfield Trojans football. High school coaches and players will coach the camp.

Walk-up entries will be accepted, but will not be guaranteed a T-shirt. For registration information, visit the school’s website at wwww.fairfieldsfuture.org. Make registration checks payable to “Fairfield Football.”
