Hawthorne Direct welcomed Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds Thursday to the ad agency’s Midwest office in Fairfield. Pictured are, from left, Tammy Shull, Hawthorne executive director, administration and human resources; Sarah Ledger, director of marketing, Reynolds, Branstad, Gene Silverman, vice president of marketing, and Karla Crawford Kerr, director of business development and corporate relations. Shull said, “We were pleased to have the opportunity to introduce the governor and lieutenant governor to Hawthorne as well as to bring together different people and organizations to recognize the benefit of arts as an economic development resource. Fairfield is a community steeped in creativity and is recognized nationally for its cultural attractions that improve the quality of life for residents and serve as an attraction for new businesses.”
