Hawthorne recently contributed to Hope for Life via Hawthorne’s Community Causes Committee.

CEO Jessica Hawthorne-Castro of Hawthorne said, “We invited Diana Makeig to speak to our Fairfield team a few months ago. Our Hawthorne Community Causes Committee was moved by Hope for Life’s commitment to inform and empower the greater community via mental health awareness and we are pleased to help support their mission.”

Hope for Life’s mission is to increase mental health awareness, suicide prevention and help to decrease stigma associated with mental illness and mental health disorders. They accomplish their mission by providing mental health and wellness education and bring education leaders, authors, speakers and workshops to families, parents, students and individuals. For information, visit www.hopeforlifementalhealth.org.

All donations help Hope for Life to provide education and recovery tools for people in need at little to no cost to the participants. Ninety percent of people who receive treatment and education begin on the path of recovery.

The Hawthorne Community Causes Committee makes monthly contributions to the Fairfield community. The committee was inspired by founder Tim Hawthorne’s dedication to the local community over the past few decades and made possible by the continued generosity of Hawthorne-Castro.

The HCCC is responsible for the usage of the agency’s monthly allocated community charitable contributions and selections. Those interested in having their community- related needs considered for contributions can email Hawthorne atdbanks@hawthornedirect.com.
