The second film in the Fairfield History Series debuted to a packed house Saturday in the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center. The film, “Heroes of Fairfield,” profiled local people involved in the Underground Railroad as well as heroes from other eras. Representatives from four museums had booths outside the Stephen Sondheim Center for the Performing Arts where they answered questions from the public. The film was produced by Dick DeAngelis of Fair Field Productions. The first film in the series premiered last year and was called “Life Before Fairfield.” It was about the area’s history before its settlement by Europeans. The third film is scheduled to debut next year and will be about agriculture.
