Holiday Lighting Soup Supper set

Members of the Fairfield Lions Club are planning the Holiday Lighting Soup Supper and live auction set for Friday evening at the Fairfield Senior Citizen Center.

Lions Club chef Doug Alexander will be assisted by Fairfield Lions preparing soup and sandwiches ready to serve beginning about 5 p.m. Assorted pies and desserts will be supplied by Lions members.

Lions Club former district governor and auctioneer Edd Felgar said the auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. Don Wallace has been overseeing collection of locally donated items ranging in value from $10 to $165.

A free will offering will be accepted, with all proceeds going to the Fairfield Police Department’s K-9 program for a new dog and training.

Music will be provided by Darlene Lauder.
