JV girls drop two games

Fairfield’s JV girls’ basketball team dropped a pair of games recently, falling at Mount Pleasant 46-43 Friday and then losing a 37-32 home game to Mid-Prairie Monday.

Fairfield’s Karley Williams led the offense Friday with 10 points, and Mackenzie Flattery scored nine. Molly Ryan supplied eight points, Taylor Ferrel finished with seven points and four boards, and Mackenzie McClure netted seven points.

On Monday, Flattery scored a team-high 11 points to go with four boards. McClure finished with eight points and five rebounds, while Madison Roberts supplied eight points and hauled in six boards. Seaira Drish scored four.

The JV girls return to the hardwood Thursday with a home game vs. Southeast Conference rival Keokuk.
