Mac King brings comedy, magic to Sondheim theater

Nov 13, 2017

The Mac King Comedy Magic Show will be 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Fairfield Arts & Convention Center’s Stephen Sondheim Center for the Performing Arts.

King is referred to as the “greatest comedy magician who ever lived” by the famous Penn & Teller. He was named the “Best Magician in Vegas.” He was named Las Vegas’ “Entertainer of the Year,” and his show was named “Best Family Show in Las Vegas” for a decade straight.

Hailed as the premiere comedy magician in the world today, Mac King was just named “Magician of the Year” by the Magic Castle in Hollywood, recently broke a Guinness World Record, appeared on his seventh TV special for NBC, and has been regarded as one of the Top 5 shows in all of Las Vegas for the past 10 years.

The Mac King Comedy Magic Show is part off-the-cuff jokes and part impossible feats of magic and a whole lot of fun.

The Mac King Comedy Magic Show keeps the magic alive in your hearts with both refreshingly brilliant tricks and stupefying talent. The magic show is packed with double entendre jokes that adults can appreciate while allowing the kids in the audience to stay blissfully in the dark and earmuff free.

King has disappearing animals, shadow puppets, and can catch live goldfish out of midair right over the heads of the audience. He performs amazing sleights of hand, makes his head completely disappear in a paper bag and renders himself invisible, all while remaining unbelievably funny.

“With our ‘Cheers to 10 Years’ $10 youth ticket special all season for the Sondheim Artist Series performances, the show is perfect for the whole family to enjoy,” said Amanda Congdon, assistant director of the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center.

Youth tickets are $10 and adult ticket tickets are $33 for Zone 1, $28 for Zone 2, and $20 for Zone 3 and $15 for Zone 4 and are available at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center ticket office, 472-2787 and online, www.FairfieldACC.com.
