Maharishi School awarding scholarships to students

Jul 08, 2014

Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment officials will be awarding a limited number of scholarships to Iowa residents who are admitted as new students for 2014-15 to Maharishi School in grades seven through 12.

The Commitment to Iowa Scholarship reflects Maharishi School’s longstanding commitment to the students and citizens of Iowa. The intention of the scholarship is to strengthen the ongoing growth of Maharishi School’s middle and upper school while also benefiting the community that has always supported the school and its mission.

The scholarship is valued at up to $2,500.

The scholarship can be combined with Maharishi School’s need-based financial aid program and significantly reduce a family’s contribution to tuition. It is renewable for four years if the student maintains a 3.0 grade point average and remains in good disciplinary standing.
