Man offers $5,000 reward for arrest of suspects

Apr 22, 2014

A Jefferson County resident is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of suspects who stole his pickup and other valuables earlier this month.

The resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, owns a hunting cabin at 2852 193rd Boulevard south of Salina. He believes that on April 12, persons used a crowbar to break into the garage on the property and steal a 2010 red Ford Ranger pickup. They also broke a window in the hunting cabin and stole guns and horse saddles.

Jefferson County Sheriff Gregg Morton said he and his deputies are aware of the case and that it is still under investigation.

The resident advised anyone with information about the case to call him at 281-787-0637 or call the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at 472-3576.
