Five mosaics, including the one above, created by Fairfield High School art students have been installed for permanent display at the high school. Each mosaic is 20- by 48-inches and is unique because it contain a focal point that has a relief or three-dimensional quality to it. The mosaics are in the lower-level hallway across from the guidance office. The mosaics were created by seniors Jade Greiner and Jordan Whitney and past graduates Clair Slechta (2013), Yenifer Jimenez (2012) and Mukund Martin (2011). Much of the work done by the students was completed outside of their regular art classes and their dedication and hard work is seen in the quality of the art. Many of the materials used for this project were purchased with a grant from the Education Foundation of Fairfield Public Schools.
