Noah’s Ark celebrating 10 years at current locale

Apr 21, 2014

Noah’s Ark Animal Foundation will be celebrating 10 years in its current location with an open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Everyone is invited. Organizers will be offering refreshments and tours of the building, and the animals will be available for everyone to visit.

For more than 27 years, Noah’s Ark Animal Foundation has offered loving care to homeless and abandoned cats and dogs. For the last 10 years, the shelter has made its home at 1986 Gear Ave., just north of Fairfield.

“We felt the need to take this opportunity to offer our thanks and appreciation to the people who have made our work possible,” said executive director Dawn Safrit. “Last year, we were able to help over 1,200 dogs and cats in our community.”
