Pekin claims SEISC cross-country crowns

WINFIELD - Head Coach Davis Eidahl has collected more hardware for the Pekin trophy case in his 54th year running the cross-country program.

The Panther boys and girls both took first place at the 2017 SEISC championship meet Thursday at Winfield-Mt. Union, while Van Buren finished seventh in the team standings for both events. Cardinal sent runners to the meet, but did not score as a team. Listed are the local runners, with their place and time listed as well.
