Pekin easily defeats Pleasantville at home

The Pekin Panthers defeated Pleasantville Friday 49-22.

The Panthers (3-1) were led by quarterback Kolby Allsup, who rushed for 44 yards and two touchdowns. Allsup also passed for 102 yards on seven completions. Allsup even caught an interception while on defense.

Petie Clubb and Chase Copeland both found the end zone for the Panthers as well. Clubb rushed for 87 yards and Copeland rushed for 39.

Christian Wittrock and Eric Adam led the team with six tackles. Clubb secured five tackles of his own.

Cole Reighard had five tackles and also had an interception.

Pekin plays North Mahaska on Friday.
