Heavenly Pet Sanctuary also is seeking doghouse donations and volunteers.

Heavenly Pet Sanctuary and Bubbles Pet Spa have teamed up to help find homes for the sanctuary’s cats and kittens.

Bubbles Pet Spa will be holding in-store cat adoptions from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Different cats and kittens will be featured each week at the Fairfield shop for visitors to see and play with. Featured this week are Wendy, Winky and Wanda three young, very friendly siblings.

All cats from the sanctuary are healthy, fully vetted, neutered or spayed and come with a new owner welcome package for $50.

Heavenly Pet Sanctuary is a no-kill shelter and adoption center in Jefferson County for homeless dogs and cats.

For more information and to view adoptable pets online, go to www.heavenlypet.petfinder.com or call 472-0701.

Shelter hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Heavenly Pet Sanctuary also is looking for volunteers to help clean the cats’ cage at the store each day.

The sanctuary also is seeking donations of large or igloo-style doghouses in good condition because half of its existing doghouses were lost when a trash collector hauled them away after they had been washed, said Laura Conti, director of Heavenly Pet Sanctuary.

“It was a devastating loss, and they are trying to get replacements in time for their summer dog season,” she said.

Anyone who would like to donate a doghouse, can call the sanctuary to arrange for pick-up.
