Police log Oct. 11

The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:

 

Friday

7:53 p.m. — A citizen advised of vandalism in the 600 block of West Grimes.

11:36 a.m. — A citizen advised of a theft in the 200 block of South 15th Street.

11:47 a.m. — Police responded to a small air conditions fire at the Sky Factory in the 800 block of North 18th Street.

12:19 p.m. — A citizen advised of a crime tip at Casey’s General Store on Libertyville Road.

1:06 p.m. — A citizen advised of fraud in the 600 block of West Monroe Avenue.

1:19 p.m. — A citizen advised of an assault in the 600 block of South Fifth Street.

2:05 p.m. — Michael Holsman, 58, of Fairfield was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for an initial appearance.

5:17 p.m. — Sharlene Prochaska was cited for no driver’s license.

5:17 p.m. — Daniel Crawford, 50, was arrested on two warrants for failure to appear for third-degree burglary and for failure to appear for theft. He was also cited for failure to have a valid driver’s license or permit for operating a vehicle.

7:40 p.m. — Casey Carlson, 33, of Fairfield was arrested on a warrant for violating a no contact order.

8:12 p.m. — A theft was reported on the Maharishi University of Management Campus.

10:14 p.m. — A citizen advised of a missing dog at the Fairfield Best Western Inn. At 10:37 p.m., the same citizen reported a theft.

 

Saturday

1:30 a.m. — Leo Schafer, 39, of Fairfield was cited for driving with a suspended license.

11:49 a.m. — Michelle Kohrs, 39, of Fairfield was arrested for fifth-degree theft.

1:35 p.m. — Hy-Vee Food and Drugstore reported individuals knocking items off store shelves. An officer investigated the incident.

2 p.m. — James Lavon Butler, 38, was arrested and charged with fifth-degree theft.

8:20 p.m. — A citizen advised of suspicious activity in the 300 block of North 10th Street.

11:46 p.m. — RPM Auto Repair on Burlington Avenue, advised of suspicious activity and a possible theft.

11:47 p.m. — Timothy Karbacka was arrested on a warrant for revocation of a pretrial release.

 

Sunday

12:58 a.m. — A citizen who was at her home alone told officers that someone might have been in her basement. Officers didn’t find anything suspicious.

1:38 a.m. — Officers arrested Joseph Waugh on warrants for attempted murder, willful injury, and a felon in possession of a firearm, and for reckless use of a firearm causing serious bodily injury. Waugh also had warrants out for probation violations.

2:23 p.m. — Seth Hoover, 25, of Fairfield was arrested on a warrant for fourth-degree criminal mischief.

8:47 p.m. — Randall Woodson, 21, of Fairfield was arrested for driving while his license was under suspension, possession of a controlled substance and for possession of drug paraphernalia.
