The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Sunday

12:16 p.m. — A violation of a no-contact order was reported in the 200 block of North Main.

4:13 p.m. — Theft was reported in the 1600 block of West Burlington.

4:40 p.m. — Trespassing was reported at the Ninth Street railroad crossing.

5:24 p.m. — Public fighting was reported at the Fourth Street railroad crossing.

6:19 p.m. — Loud music was reported coming from a vehicle at the end of East Jefferson.

7:16 p.m. — A verbal warning for expired plates was issued on Highway 34, Exit 212, eastbound.

7:53 p.m. — A theft was reported in the 300 block of West Burlington.

8:23 p.m. — A civil dispute was reported in the 1300 block of West Jefferson.

8:42 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported at Fifth and Hempstead.

8:54 p.m. — A verbal warning for no plates was issued in the 100 block of East Burlington. The vehicle had been purchased May 28. Everything was OK.

9:03 p.m. — Police assisted a motorist at Seventh and Jefferson.

10:10 p.m. — A verbal warning for no driver-side headlight was issued at Fifth and Van Buren.

10:35 p.m. — Police checked Whitham Woods after hours.

10:39 p.m. — Police checked Cedar View Trail after hours.

10:47 p.m. — Police checked O.B. Nelson Park after hours.

10:51 p.m. — Police checked Lamson Woods after hours.

11 p.m. — Police assisted the Fairfield Fire Department at a fire call in the 2300 block of West Jackson.

11:43 p.m. — A verbal warning for no headlights was issued in the 200 block of South Main.

 

Monday

7 a.m. -- A verbal warning for expired registration was issued at Second and Broadway.

7:48 a.m. -- A verbal warning for failure to yield to through traffic at Fourth and Merrill was issued in the 1100 block of North Fourth.

7:58 a.m. -- A verbal warning for expired registration was issued at Fourth and Depot. The subject had the signed and dated title to the vehicle.

8:21 a.m. -- A verbal warning for a registration violation was issued in the 2000 block of South Main.

8:23 a.m. -- A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued in the 600 block of South Main.

10:33 a.m. -- A complainant pointed out items that had been left in the 600 block of West Grimes.

10:53 a.m. -- Police investigated a theft reported in the 1000 block of West Burlington.

12:08 p.m. -- Police investigated a theft in Fairfield.

12:09 p.m. -- Police investigated burglary/breaking and entering in the 200 block of North Fifth.

1:35 p.m. -- Police checked on the welfare of dogs in the 200 block of North 28th. Both dogs had water and shade and were OK.

1:49 p.m. -- An animal concern was reported in the 1400 block of Dogwood.

3:05 p.m. -- Police investigated burglary at Sixth and Grimes. At 3:22 p.m., Trina Delsue Dowd, 26, of Fairfield, was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary (unoccupied motor vehicle).

3:38 p.m. -- A vehicle was towed from the 100 block of East Adams.

4:42 p.m. -- Harassment was reported in the 300 block of South 32nd.

7:39 p.m. -- A verbal warning for failure to obey a stop or yield sign was issued at Seventh and Fillmore.

7:49 p.m. -- A verbal warning for no plates was issued in the 2100 block of West Burlington. The vehicle had just been purchased that day.

8:36 p.m. -- A teenage male was reported to have been driving a go-kart, with no lights, all over the roadway, up and down the street at Ninth and Jefferson.

9:27 p.m. -- Extra patrol was requested in the 2200 block of West Burlington.

10:21 p.m. -- Suspicious activity was reported and a welfare check was requested in the 900 block of West Briggs.

10:31 p.m. -- Police assisted with a disabled vehicle in the 900 block of East Harrison.

 

Tuesday

12:45 a.m. -- Police investigated destruction/damage/vandalism of property in the 300 block of West Briggs.

2:36 a.m. -- Police performed a building check at Hawthorne Direct and found everything to be OK.
