Nov 28, 2016

BURLINGTON (AP) — Authorities have released the name of a Chicago man who was fatally wounded in southeast Iowa.
Police say the man was shot during a confrontation with a man in another vehicle Tuesday morning in Burlington. The fatally wounded man drove from the scene but crashed a block away.
The Hawk Eye reports (http://bit.ly/2gEbCtg ) that police identified him as 28-year-old Breion Combs. Police haven't reported any arrests in his shooting.
Officers responding to the crash scene soon heard shots coming from about a block away. A man who apparently was wounded in that shooting turned up later at a hospital in West Burlington and was flown to a hospital in Iowa City. He's been identified as 35-year-old James Griffin, also of Chicago.
Three suspects in his shooting were arrested.
