The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Tuesday

7:30 a.m. — An officer walked through Fairfield Middle School.

8:09 a.m. — An officer walked through Fairfield High School.

8:15 a.m. — A car alarm near the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center had been going off for an hour. The owner was located.

8:26 a.m. — An officer walked through Pence Elementary School.

9:51 a.m. — Trespassing was reported at the Maharishi University of Management Building 106.

10:13 a.m. — A verbal warning for registration was issued in the 2800 block of West Burlington.

11:08 a.m. — A parking concern was reported in the 1300 block of Liberty Drive.

12:53 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a traffic violation in the 2200 block of West Grimes.

1:33 p.m. — Extra patrol was requested on the Maharishi University of Management Building 106.

1:45 p.m. — Police assisted a motorist in the 1100 block of West Burlington. The vehicle was moved into a private lot to open up traffic.

2:02 p.m. — Gene Allen Cole, 33, of Fairfield was cited for failure to have a valid license or permit for operating a motor vehicle and operating non-registered vehicle at Main and Jefferson.

2:15 p.m. — Larceny theft was reported in the 400 block of South Fourth.

3:33 p.m. — Brandon Kempf, 25, of Fairfield, was arrested at Maharishi University of Management Building 106 and charged with interference with official acts (police officer, EMT, firefighter).

6:07 p.m. — Harassment was reported in the 2300 block of Highway 34.

6:17 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a driver-side taillight not being red through and through at Grimes and Second.

6:54 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for improper driver-side brake light at Jefferson and 12th.

7:12 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for no passenger-side brake light in the 1200 block of West Burlington.

8:38 p.m. — A report of a disturbance was reported in the 700 block of West Burlington.

8:50 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a driver-side brake light outage in the 50 block of East Grimes.

Wednesday

1:58 a.m. — Tamara Peck, 27, of Fairfield, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated — second offense, possession of controlled substance — marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 14th and Burlington.

2 a.m. — A business alarm sounded in the 200 block of North Main.
