The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Friday

8:12 a.m. — A civil issue over property was reported in the 2300 block of West Burlington.

9:19 a.m. — Criminal mischief was reported in the 700 block of South D.

10:06 a.m. — David Lawrence Dannemann, 33, of Fairfield, was arrested in the 500 block of North Second and charged with first-degree robbery, a Class B felony.

12:42 p.m. — Police assisted a citizen with a keep-the-peace request in the 800 block of West Grimes.

4:24 p.m. — Harassment was reported in the 50 block of South Main.

5:05 p.m. — A Toyota Highlander was reported as being parked too close to the corner at Ninth and Washington. Drivers could not see around it to see Ninth Street.

6:07 p.m. — An alarm sounded in the 300 block of East Kirkwood.

7:51 p.m. — Public fighting was reported in the 1200 block of West Burlington.

9:58 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of North Court.

10:53 p.m. — A verbal traffic warning was issued in the 400 block of North B.

 

Saturday

1:28 a.m. — Citizens were advised of the Whitham Woods park hours.

2:37 a.m. — A vehicle was stopped for no license plates at Third and Polk. A verbal warning was issued.

4:26 a.m. — Chasity Nicole Maldonado, 39, of Fairfield, was cited for diving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied at Seventh and Kirkwood.

4:44 a.m. — Trespassing was reported in the 1100 block of Liberty Drive.

9:32 a.m. — No-trespass orders were served on David L. Dannemann.

11:17 a.m. — Jackson Harvey Paris, 74, of Ottumwa, was cited for a registration violation at Lowe and Fourth.

1:09 p.m. — A hit-and-run was reported in the 2700 block of West Burlington.

1:15 p.m. — A verbal warning for a taillight was issued in the 50 block of North Main.

8:46 p.m. — Joseph Grinstead DeVore, 23, homeless, was arrested in the 300 block of West Adams and charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana).

 

Sunday

1:40 a.m. — A welfare check was performed in the 2000 block of North Court. The subject was transported to Jefferson County Health Center.

3 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 600 block of North Court. The caller could hear someone on the porch and at the door.

7:59 a.m. — A call about an animal in the 50 block of East Madison was received.

8:56 a.m. — An alarm sounded in the 300 block of East Kirkwood.

10:58 a.m. — John Edwin Koch, 52, homeless, was arrested in the 900 block of West Tyler and charged with contempt of court, violation of a restraining order.

11:02 a.m. — Theresa Ann Carson, 49, of Fairfield, was arrested in the 900 block of West Tyler and charged with contempt of court, violation of a restraining order.

12:31 p.m. — A distracted driver was reported in the 2000 block of North Main.

1 p.m. — The theft of a woman’s wallet was reported in the 300 block of West Broadway.

2:22 p.m. — A male black lab was dropped off at Fairfield Veterinary Clinic.

4:31 p.m. — A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued at Glasgow and Mint.

6:42 p.m. — A caller requested that police talk to a dog owner who hit the muzzled dog tied in the 2700 block of West Burlington.

8:07 p.m. — Two subjects were arrested on Wapello County warrants in the 2200 block of West Burlington.

9:36 p.m. — A verbal warning for no taillights was issued at Second and Lowe.

 

Monday

1:54 a.m. — A verbal warning for no plates was issued at C and Washington.

3:02 a.m. — Loud music was reported in the 1100 block of West Adams Court.

5:04 a.m. — Police assisted the ambulance in the 600 block of North Eighth.
