Police Report

The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Monday

8:14 a.m. — Police walked through Fairfield Middle School.

8:30 a.m. — Police walked through Fairfield High School.

9:05 a.m. — A gas drive-off was reported in the 200 block of West Burlington.

9:09. m. — A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued at Sixth and Harrison.

1:04 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped in the 800 block of West Burlington because the registered owner was suspended. Upon investigating, the driver was not the registered owner.

1:10 p.m. — A theft was reported in the 2100 block of Libertyville Road.

1:37 p.m. — A parking concern was reported in the 50 block of Forest Drive. The front right tire of the truck is marked. It can be checked at about 3 p.m. March 20 and if it is not moved, it can be towed.

2:19 p.m. — Police investigated destruction/damage/vandalism of property in the 300 block of North 10th.

2:41 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of West Lowe.

3:05 p.m. — Police assisted a motorist in the 500 block of West Lowe.

3:11 p.m. — A verbal warning for no plates was issued at Seventh and Kirkwood.

3:27 p.m. — A possible domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of North Court. Police found the subject arguing on the phone with her ex-husband.

3:35 p.m. — Police investigated assault (simple) in the 900 block of West Tyler.

5:37 p.m. — A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued at Main and Grimes.

5:46 p.m. — Theft was reported in the 500 block of North Fourth. Police spoke with the vehicle owner. The owner said his daughter had been driving the vehicle and might have filled up with gas. He will ask his daughter. If it was her, he will make the payment.

6:16 p.m. — Police assisted the fire department in the 400 block of East Broadway.

7:13 p.m. — Vandalism was reported in the 200 block of West Burlington.

8:26 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of West Fillmore.

9:22 p.m. — Police investigated narcotic violations and equipment violations at F and Pleasant Plain.

9:28 p.m. — Police investigated narcotic violations and equipment violations in the 500 block of West Adams.

 

Tuesday

8:09 a.m. — Police walked through Washington Elementary School.

9:49 a.m. — A hazardous road condition was reported between Larch and B and Park and B.

10:06 a.m. — A traffic accident was reported in the 1300 block of West Burlington.

10:42 a.m. — A burglary in the 200 block of South 17th was investigated.

12:46 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 1500 block of Woodside Circle.

3:08 p.m. — A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued at Grand Park and Southview.

3:50 p.m. — A verbal warning for a driver-side brake light outage was issued in the 600 block of West Burlington.

4:41 p.m. — Kathryn Elizabeth Cloke, 31, of Eldon, was cited for an improper brake light and failure to prove security against liability (non-accident related) in the 1800 block of West Stone.

5:59 p.m. — Harassment was reported in the 200 block of East Briggs.

8:10 p.m. — Police assisted a motorist at Ninth and Jefferson.

9:21 p.m. — A verbal warning for a brake light outage was issued at Seventh and Van Buren.
