The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Wednesday

7:24 a.m. — A citation for operating a non-registered vehicle was issued to Rafael Israel Taylor McAnally of Richland at Fourth and Stone.

7:37 a.m. — A road closure was reported at Queenscup and 230th.

8:01 a.m. — A utilities hazard was reported in the 1300 block of Hilltop Lane.

9:26 a.m. — Police investigated destruction/damage/vandalism of property in the 50 block of West Broadway.

9:48 a.m. — A verbal warning for a brake light outage was issued at Fourth and Burlington.

10:10 a.m. — Police investigated fraud at First National Bank.

11:39 a.m. — Harassment was reported in the 300 block of South 32nd.

11:30 a.m. — A road closure was reported on North Ninth between Depot and the railroad crossing.

11:50 a.m. — Fairfield Wastewater Treatment Plant reported a person was entering a confined space. According to the Jefferson County Law Enforcement Center, the center is alerted when a person is entering a confined space in the event that an emergency occurs.

12:34 p.m. — Fairfield Wastewater Treatment Plant reported work in a confined space.

1:08 p.m. — A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued in the 600 block of West Jackson.

1:24 p.m. — A parking concern was reported in the 100 block of North Main.

1:46 p.m. — A citation for driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied was issued to Matthew Ronald White, 24, of Fairfield, at 20th and Jefferson.

1:55 p.m. — Larceny theft was reported in the 200 block of East Buchanan.

3:15 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported at Main and Lowe. The subject told police he was locked out of his girlfriend’s apartment and was waiting for her to get off work.

4:32 p.m. — Lost-and-found items were found in the woods south of West Jefferson behind the Fairfield Hy-Vee Food and Drug Store.

7:19 p.m. — A concern about an animal was reported in the 600 block of South Sixth.

7:19 p.m. — A female and a male were reported dancing in the middle of the roadway at Ninth and Hempstead.

11:25 p.m. — A citation for driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied was issued to Justin Andrew Stahl, 24, of Douds in the 2200 block of Highway 1.

 

Thursday

5:15 a.m. — Police investigated criminal mischief/vandalism in the 400 block of South Sixth.
