Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Sunday

12:15 a.m. — A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued at Fourth and Burlington.

12:45 a.m. — Extra patrol was requested in the 100 block of East Broadway.

12:52 a.m. — An officer checked a building in the 100 block of West Broadway.

1:11 a.m. — A disturbance was reported in the 1500 block of Woodside Circle.

1:38 a.m. — An officer walked through Buchanan apartments.

2:25 a.m. — Johnny B. Spencer Jr., 34, of Fairfield, was cited for driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied at Highway 34, Exit 210.

5:26 a.m. — Loud music was reported in the 1100 block of West Adams Court.

7:11 a.m. — A false fire alarm sounded in the 200 block of South Court.

9:22 a.m. — Police investigated the theft of a motor vehicle in the 400 block of West Hempstead.

9:49 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued for speeding at Court and Kirkwood.

9:59 a.m. — A verbal waring for speeding was issued at Main and Kirkwood.

11:02 a.m. — Police investigated burglary/breaking and entering in the 1000 block of West Burlington.

12:02 p.m. — Property was left in the 200 block of East Briggs.

12:59 p.m. — Police investigated a theft report in the 600 block of West Monroe.

1:31 p.m. — Police investigated narcotic violations and drug equipment violations in the 600 block of West Monroe.

1:40 p.m. — Extended parking was reported in the 400 block of West Broadway.

5:12 p.m. — A civil dispute was reported in the 500 block of South Fourth.

5:44 p.m. — An abandoned vehicle was towed from the 50 block of West Burlington.

6 p.m. — An assault was reported in the 200 block of West Washington.

7:36 p.m. — A verbal warning for speeding was issued at the city limits on North Fourth Street.

7:56 p.m. — Mary Elizabeth Dearborn, 68, of Fairfield, was cited for speeding at Fourth and Carpenter.

8:18 p.m. — Police assisted a motorist on East Lowe.

8:31 p.m. — A caller reported hearing a gunshot and seeing a pickup truck take off in the 400 block of East Hempstead.

9:29 p.m. — Police provided information to subjects at O.B. Nelson Park.

10:30 p.m. — A caller reported a neighbor’s house is empty, but a van was in the driveway. Police found everything OK.

 

Monday

6:37 a.m. — A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued at 20th and Burlington.

6:54 a.m. — A property dispute was reported in the 200 block of East Briggs.

7:21 a.m. — A utilities hazard was reported in the 300 block of South Third.

7:52 a.m. — Theft was investigated in the 500 block of North Second.

7:55 a.m. — Ninth Street was closed between Lowe and Depots.

10:10 a.m. — A dangerous driver was reported eastbound on West Burlington.

10:23 a.m. — A caller reported a female picked up her mother’s oxycodone and delivered it with 24 pills missing. The caller advised the female said they would bring the pills back. The caller then hung up.

10:32 a.m. — Missing property was reported.

10:40 a.m. — A traffic accident was reported in the 3000 block of West Grimes.

11:21 a.m. — A road closure was reported on 195th Street between Umber and Teak.

12:10 p.m. — A structure fire was reported in the 2000 block of North B. It was a false alarm.

12:50 p.m. — A verbal warning for a broken taillight was issued at Fourth and Hempstead.

12:57 p.m. — A verbal warning for a broken brake light was issued at Third and Grimes.

1:02 p.m. — An animal issue was reported in the 2700 block of West Burlington.

3:29 p.m. — A 17-year-old driver was cited for careless driving. The driver left the stoplight at D and Burlington turning east, slid around the corner, driving at a high rate of speed.

3:42 p.m. — Police investigated possible fraud in the 1000 block of East Harrison.

5:26 p.m. — A controlled substance was reported in the 200 block of East Buchanan.

8:27 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a nonvisable plate at Third and Harrison. The plate was covered with dust.

8:33 p.m. — A dangerous driver was reported at Burlington and D.

8:34 p.m. — A suspicious person was reported in the 800 block of West Taylor.

9:01 p.m. — Larceny theft was reported.

9:29 p.m. — A verbal warning for a brakelight outage was issued on Highway 1 in the Maharishi University of Management campus.

9:36 p.m. — A verbal warning for no third brakelight was issued at Fourth and Depot.

10:50 p.m. — Assault was reported in the 100 block of West Burlington.

10:46 p.m. — Police assisted the sheriff’s office in the 2300 block of Seven Hills Roads.

 

Tuesday

Midnight — Police assisted the sheriff’s office on Highway 34, Exit 210.

2:35 a.m. — Police investigated the theft of a motor vehicle in the 100 block of East Washington.
