The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Tuesday

7:28 a.m. — Brian Curtis Adair, 24, of Mt. Pleasant was stopped for unlawful passing of a school bus at Third and Briggs. A citation was issued for failure to prove security against liability (non-accident related) and a summons for a school bus violation will be requested.

9:40 a.m. — An animal concern in the 400 block of West Carpenter was reported.

9:45 a.m. — A parking concern in the 300 block of East Broadway was reported.

10:30 a.m. — Police investigated a burglary/breaking and entering in the 300 block of South Fourth.

10:53 a.m. — A parking concern on Madison between Third and Fourth streets was reported.

11:21 a.m. — A traffic accident was reported in the 2700 block of West Burlington.

11:37 a.m. — A utilities hazard was reported at Sixth and Burlington.

11:38 a.m. — A civil dispute was reported in the 2300 block of West Jackson. A truck driver was being disruptive with a business’s shipping staff. The truck driver was frustrated with how long it was taking to get his truck loaded.

12:05 p.m. — Extra patrol was requested in the area of Hempstead and C.

12:23 p.m. — Police investigated criminal mischief/vandalism in the 400 block of East Madison.

12:51 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of West Fillmore. Two subjects had permission to play tennis on school property.

2:09 p.m. — A verbal warning for no plates was issued at 32nd and Burlington.

2:22 p.m. — Fraud was investigated in the 2700 block of West Burlington.

4:07 p.m. — Police assisted Juvenile Court. A subject needed to report a Facebook message to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department.

4:19 p.m. — Harassment was reported in the 50 block of South Eighth.

5:03 p.m. — Theft was reported in the 400 block of North Fourth.

5:26 p.m. — Andrew David Phillips, 24, of Ottumwa was arrested in Fairfield on a warrant for possession with intent to deliver 5 grams or less of methamphetamine.

5:27 p.m. — A dangerous driver was reported in the 1700 block of West Burlington.

7:05 p.m. — A dangerous driver was reported southbound on South Main.

7:13 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 500 block of North Second.

10:19 p.m. — Assault was reported in the 400 block of North F.

10:52 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported on Hempstead between Ninth and 10th.

 

Wednesday

12:16 a.m. — Disturbing the peace was reported in the 400 block of West Adams Avenue.

12:38 a.m. — Loud music was reported in the 1100 block of West Adams.

1:48 a.m. — Verbal warnings for a plate light outage and an obstructed plate were issued at Fourth and Briggs.

3:42 a.m. — A verbal warning for a driver-side brakelight outage was issued at Fourth and Broadway.
