The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Saturday

11:27 a.m. — A civil dispute was reported in the 900 block of Fairview Drive.

11:37 a.m. — Trespassing was reported in the 200 block of South 15th.

11:44 a.m. — Amber Carr, 31, of Fairfield was arrested at the Jefferson County Law Center on two warrants from Wapello County District Court for failure to appear.

12:09 p.m. — Harassment was reported at Waterworks Park.

12:19 p.m. — A grass/brush fire was reported in the 800 block of South Maple.

12:36 p.m. — Credit card fraud was reported.

12:46 p.m. — A utilities hazard was reported on Eighth Street.

1:13 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 800 block of West Kirkwood.

1:28 p.m. — A dangerous driver was reported on Fourth Street near Broadway and Briggs.

1:44 p.m. — An alarm sounded at the post office. An employee said he was conducting interviews. He was advised to call the security company.

2:23 p.m. — A warning for a broken taillight was issued at B and Badgett.

2:46 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued to a bicyclist for not coming to a stop at the stop sign at Fourth and Grimes.

2:51 p.m. — A railroad crossing arm malfunction was reported at the 23rd Street crossing.

3:52 p.m. — Kids were reported on the roof of the Fairfield Elks Lodge. Police made contact with them and they came down.

5:11 p.m. — A fire was reported in the 700 block of West Broadway.

7:35 p.m. — Vandalism was reported at Maple and Adams.

9:11 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 900 block of Fairview Drive.

9:14 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported at 12th and Gear. The caller thought a drunk person was passed out in a car.

9:16 p.m. — Assault was reported in the 200 block of East Briggs.

10:28 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 1900 block of US Highway 34.

 

Sunday

1:35 a.m. — Public fighting was reported in the 400 block of West Depot.

3:51 a.m. — A verbal warning for no plates was issued at D and Jefferson.

7:17 a.m. — A verbal warning for a broken brakelight was issued at Seventh and Stone.

8:33 a.m. — Assault was reported at Jefferson County Law Center.

3:44 p.m. — A verbal warning for a broken brakelight was issued at Fourth and Fillmore.

6:06 p.m. — A public argument was reported in the 500 block of West Jefferson.

7:21 p.m. — Vandalism was reported in the 500 block of West Jefferson.

7:50 p.m. — Police investigated burglary/breaking and entering in the 900 block of West Hempstead.

8:18 p.m. — Police investigated the theft of a motor vehicle in the 300 block of South 14th.

8:33 p.m. — Larceny theft was reported in the 500 block of North Third.

10:05 p.m. — A loud noise complaint was reported in the 200 block of East Briggs.

10:27 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a broken headlight at 12th and Adams.

10:57 p.m. — A citizen provided a crime tip.

11:25 p.m. — A domestic disturbance was reported in the 200 block of East Briggs.

 

Monday

12:28 a.m. — Police checked Fairfield Middle School and found the doors secured.

12:30 a.m. — A verbal warning for a brakelight outage was issued in the 2100 block of Libertyville Road.

1:04 a.m. — Police checked the Waterworks Park restrooms.

1:31 a.m. — Police advised subjects of the park hours at Whitham Woods.

1:56 a.m. — Police contacted the keyholder of Dexter Laundry and found everything OK.

3:27 a.m. — Police assisted a driver on Libertyville Road near Jefferson County Health Center.

3:29 a.m. — Police investigated a robbery reported in the 3000 block of Adams Lane.

4:22 a.m. — Bad weather was reported.

5:42 a.m. — A structure fire was reported at 605 South E St.

7:51 a.m. — A verbal warning for no passenger-side brakelight was issued in the 200 block of West Burlington.

11:44 a.m. — A grass fire was reported at 1301 W. Burlington Ave.

12:08 p.m. — Police assisted the sheriff’s office on a traffic stop on Highway 34 at Fir.

12:16 p.m. — Police assisted a motorist with a broken down truck at Whitham Woods.

2:10 p.m. — A “strange-acting” squirrel was reported at O.B. Nelson Park.

2:23 p.m. — An irratic driver complaint was reported near Alcast Company Midwest Works.

2:26 p.m. — A theft was reported in the 200 block of South Fourth.
